You may have a cool blog, but traffic is essencial to make it visible. Social blogging networks are the best way to promote your blog for free, you just have to make your regist. I have been using some of them with nice results:

MyBlogLog is one of the best social blogging networks. Add your blogs and profile and start visiting other people profiles and blogs. Each blog have a community of readers you can join, with time you will see the members of your blogs communities increasing. You can also add contacts and leave messages (or receive them). There is a lot of features to explore.
