Test the speed of your internet connection
Speedtest.net is another free online tool that will test your internet speed in a few clicks. Speedtest.net is a broadband connection analysis tool with a good selection of geographically dispersed testing servers.
To use Speedtest.net just point your browser to speedtest.net and select a server in the map. Speedtest.net initially recommends a server based on physical distances but you can select another. Then you just have to wait until the end of the test. At the end of the test you will have your download and upload speeds.
With Speedtest.net you can also check the top 5 speeds in continents, countries and ISPs. Speedtest.net will also let you know your global rank and your country rank, along with some global stats.

For speed up your pc you can use a free tool from http://myinternetspeed.org/free-utilities/free-utility-program/.
It allows you to clean system junk files, invalid registry entries and Internet traces. You can also manage and delete browser add-ons, analyze disk space usage and find duplicate files, view and manage installed shell extensions, encrypt your files from unauthorized access and use, split large files into smaller manageable files and then rejoin them.
